Modern design in the Peak District National Park

Just outside Hathersage, a village near Chatsworth, in one of the most beautiful areas of Derbyshire, you will find the David Mellor Cutlery Factory, Design Museum, Country Shop and Café, all on the same site. Together they provide a uniquely stimulating and enjoyable day out in the Peak District National Park.

The Country Shop and David Mellor Design Museum are now open

Our expert sales team of Kath, Tom and Andrew are eager to welcome you in Hathersage as always.

Every precaution has been taken to ensure the newly reconfigured shop is a space that’s safe for all. Even during these challenging times, we still aim to deliver our high level of service and staff expertise.

On your next visit you will notice some changes to the shop and our working practices that will help to keep everyone safe and COVID-19 Secure.

Please ensure that you follow all instructions given by the signage on site and verbally by our staff.

The David Mellor Design Museum and Café have now reopened. Factory tours remain suspended and will not take place.
