The David Mellor Gift Registry

Our online Gift Registry is the perfect way to create a list of special items you would like for any occasion, such as a wedding, birthday or new home.

We have over 2,000 different items in our collection covering all aspects of cooking, eating and entertaining. Renowned for sophisticated modern tableware and kitchenware of the highest design standards, including the world famous David Mellor cutlery, many of our products are of our own design and exclusive to David Mellor.

How it works

Creating a Gift Registry

It's easy to create and manage your David Mellor Gift Registry:

  1. Create or sign in to your online Customer Account. Select Gift Registry from the top page header and select to Create a Registry
  2. Choose an event type and enter the details of your event.
  3. Browse the online store and add items to your registry using the Add to Gift Registry option on the item pages.
  4. Once you have added the items to your registry, set the item quantities and priority levels within the Gift Registry on your Account Dashboard.
  5. Share your Gift Registry on social media or by sending your friends and family the unique link provided. Only people with the link and the password you set up can view your registry.
  6. You can manage and edit your Gift Registry at any time by signing in to your Customer Account and selecting My Gift Registry. You can also view which items have been purchased and by whom and send them a thank you email.

Purchasing from a Gift Registry

  1. Access the Gift Registry using the link and password you have been provided.
  2. The Gift Registry will show the quantities available and priority of the items. Select the item and quantity you would like to purchase and Add to Basket
  3. At the checkout you can choose to have the gift sent to you or directly to the Gift Registry creator. You can also enter a personalised gift message.

Frequently asked questions

How are gifts delivered?

Friends and family can choose to have gifts sent to their own address or directly to you at the shipping address you enter when creating your registry. (Please note that your friends and family will see this shipping address at the time of purchase). All gifts are sent at the time they are purchased and our standard postage charge will be applied to each purchase.

Which countries can Gift Registry items be delivered to?

We only support delivery to addresses in the United Kingdom for Gift Registry items.

Can I amend items on my Gift Registry after it has been created?

Yes, you can easily add, remove or alter the quantities of available items on your Gift Registry from your Account Dashboard while it is active. Only items that have been purchased are unable to be amended.

Do you offer gift wrapping online?

We don't offer a gift wrapping service online but friends and family are able to add a personalised gift message when an item is purchased from a Gift Registry.

How can I see who has sent a gift?

You can view who has purchased a gift in the Gift Registry on your Account Dashboard and a packing slip showing this information will be included with any items delivered. You will also receive an email each time a gift is purchased.

Can you create and manage a Gift Registry on my behalf?

You can visit one of our shops and our advisors will be pleased to advise you on our products and assist you in creating your Gift Registry online. However, we are unable to create, edit or manage a Gift Registry on your behalf.

Can friends or family purchase from my Gift Registry in one of your shops?

Unfortunately not. Our Gift Registry is only available to purchase from online and items purchased in our shops will not be removed from your Gift Registry.

Can I add special order items to my Gift Registry?

No. You can only add items from our standard range and we are unable to place special orders for items.

How private is my Gift Registry?

Your Gift Registry is not accessible by the general public. Only people with the link and the password you set up can view your registry.

Can I return or exchange items?

Yes, our standard returns policy applies to any items purchased from a Gift Registry. Items can be exchanged at one of our shops or by returning them by post to our mail order department so long as they are unused and in their original packaging. Please note that proof of purchase in the form of a delivery note or invoice is required and we can only perform a refund to the card used to place the order.
