David Mellor Column glassware

In his design for the new ‘Column’ range of glasses, Corin Mellor has been inspired by the innovative style and colour of Kaj Franck’s glass.

Deliberately heavyweight to give the glasses a more radical look and feel, they have a vivid green coloured foot, which reflects onto the base of the bowl, giving a playful coloured effect in the clear glass.

The range has four different shaped glasses and the versatile champagne flutes can be used as stem vases.

These glasses are individually handmade, displaying dimensional differences and slight irregularities adding to their character.
