Eva Trio stainless steel lid 16cm
The Eva Trio range was developed by the Danish designer Olé Palsby. It is a superb choice for the modern working kitchen: smart, practical and versatile. The 6mm sandwich base - stainless steel, thick aluminium, stainless steel - gives a good even spread of heat. Palsby's high quality stainless steel pans co-ordinate with hard anodised aluminium pans with 'Slip-Let' non-stick finish. Eva-Trio's winning design feature is the elegant long-handled stainless steel or glass lid, with flanged rim to provide a good tight fit. It enables the pans to be stacked up for storage. Lids are interchangeable throughout the range and are supplied separately. Suitable for all types of cooker including induction. Note that anodised aluminium is not recommended for dishwashers.
|Fuel types||Electric, Gas, Halogen, Induction|
Eva Solo creates exclusive, Danish-designed furnishing accessories and kitchenware characterised by aesthetic appeal, functionality and high quality. Tools which are a pleasure to look at, use and own. Tools Design was founded in 1989 by designers Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbæk. A couple of decades on and with more than 200 international design awards to their name, Tools Design is one of Denmark’s leading design firms. The designs are characterised by a simple and innovative approach to the product and its function. And in the hands of these skilled designers, the result is stunning products which are truly functional.
The clear and simple form of language and a consistent renunciation of superfluous decorative elements characterise Olé Palsby's style. He places particular emphasis on the innovative conceptual approach of the individual products and collections that he designs. Palsby is entirely self-taught, training as a banker before opening a shop selling household products and venturing into design. The Eva Trio series was conceived in 1977 when Olé Palsby decided to use three different materials in a single product, thereby achieving the optimum desired properties. And hence the name Eva Trio. At the same time, the cookware’s characteristic handles represented a truly innovative take on Danish design. Over the years, the Eva Trio designs have won a flood of design awards and become genuine design classics.
