A petite pot for perfect pekoe. The Alessi Cha Kettle/Teapot gets its name from the Japanese word for the fusion of two objects, in this case a kettle for brewing tea and a teapot for serving it. This all-in-one pot is made of Mirror Polished stainless steel with a cool-to-the-touch thermoplastic resin handle and knob and stainless steel tea strainer. Alessi, known as the Italian design factory, has manufactured household products since 1921. The stylish and fun items offered are the result of contemporary partnerships with some of the world's best designers of unique and modern home accessories.

Founded in 1921 as a “Workshop for the processing of brass and nickel silver sheet metal, with foundry”, Alessi has always stood out for the high quality of its products. In almost a century of history, the company has gradually evolved to become one of the leading “Factories of Italian design”, capable of applying its expertise and excellence in design management to many different product types.
Naoto Fukasawa was born in Yamanashi, Japan, in 1956 and graduated from Tama Art University in 1980. His career began at Seiko Epson, where he designed products such as wrist TVs and mini printers using micro-technology. He then moved to the United States and in 1989 joined the San Francisco design firm ID Two, the predecessor to IDEO. There, he worked on a number of products related to Silicon Valley's computing and electronics industry. He was also involved in the development of a design language and design concept for Apple. In 1996, he returned to Japan to start and head up IDEO's Tokyo office before establishing Naoto Fukasawa Design in 2003. Fukasawa has worked on product development for many well-known brands and companies around the world, winning numerous awards for his efforts.
