The Japanese Giyaman porcelain range on a grey background.

Kohyo Giyaman Japanese porcelain

Supremely elegant fine porcelain from the Kaneko Kohyo pottery, founded in 1921 in Toki City, Japan. ‘Giyaman’ is a Japanese loanword meaning ‘glassware’ and refers to the lustrous deep blue glaze which gives a glowing radiance reminiscent to glass.

The rich Aizome glaze highlights the gently undulating shape of the traditional Japanese chrysanthemum design, the Imperial Emblem of Japan.

Suitable for microwaves and dishwashers.
