Pride silver plate limited edition rosewood handled 58-piece canteen
It's been 70 years since David Mellor created his iconic Pride cutlery. To celebrate this anniversary, we have created special limited-edition Rosewood sets of this beloved range.
No design embodies Britain’s own brand of understated modernism better than Pride. Originally created in 1953 while Mellor was at the Royal College of Art, Pride was the first student design to be put into mass manufacture. It is now as emblematic of British design as the Mini, the Anglepoise lamp or the Tube map.
To mark its 70th anniversary, Corin Mellor has created 20 spectacular limited-edition sets with Rosewood handles and mirror polished blades. Packaged in specially created Walnut canteen boxes with moulded burnt sienna interiors - a nod to Pride’s impeccable mid-century credentials. These luxurious limited-edition sets are completed by a celebratory edition-marked plaque.
Limited to 2 canteens per customer.
