Diederich Lys Pillar candle, light green

Hidden in the suburbs of Aarhus, Diederich Lys has been producing candles since 1965 making it the oldest candle factory in Denmark. Candles are cast using old craft traditions from specially selected raw materials ensuring high quality. Each candle is hand dipped in coloured wax and has a cotton wick which reduces particle emission. Their candles are long-lasting, soot-free, lead-free, and beautiful burning.

The candle has a white core which consists of 100% food approved paraffin that soots less than solid-coloured candles. The exterior of the candle is a coloured wax, which has a different melting point than the core. This means that the core melts a little faster than the surface colour. The candle has an even and beautiful burn.

Cotton wicks are from the German manufacturer, Henschke Docht and are 100% lead free

7x10cm size – Burning time is approximately 52 hours.

Please note: this candle replaces the equivalent Finnmari candle which has been discontinued by the manufacturer. There are 2 key differences, the candle is slightly smaller in diameter and the candle has a white core.
